Servant Leadership - House to House
What does it truly mean to serve others, and how does that service connect us to something eternal? This message takes us deep into the heart of servant leadership, drawing from Philippians 2 and the example of Christ himself, who set aside the fullness of divine glory to take on the form of a servant. We are challenged to examine our own motivations: are we serving out of duty, or out of genuine love for the people around us? The upside-down nature of God's kingdom flips every worldly assumption about power and influence. In the world, instructions flow downward and everyone serves upward toward those in authority. But in the kingdom of God, leadership exists to lift others up, equip them, and send them out. Our gifts, our homes, our relationships, and even our daily routines are all platforms for reaching people who desperately need the gospel. The early church in Acts 2 modeled this beautifully, moving from the temple into homes, sharing meals, building community, and watching God add to their number every single day. We are invited into that same rhythm, where every member is a minister and every relationship is an opportunity.
