Our Fight of Freedom

Mar 1, 2026

This powerful message confronts us with an urgent truth: our freedom as believers and citizens is not guaranteed—it must be defended by each generation. Drawing from Judges 2:8-10, we're reminded that a generation arose that 'did not know the Lord or the work which He had done.' This sobering reality challenges us to recognize that spiritual and civic apathy can lead to the loss of everything we hold dear. The message weaves together biblical principles with contemporary cultural analysis, revealing how Marxist ideologies directly oppose God's commandments—from coveting (the 10th commandment) to undermining family structures. We're called to understand that as salt and light in this world, we cannot separate our faith from our civic responsibilities. The welfare of our cities, as Jeremiah 29:7 instructs, is directly connected to our own welfare. This isn't about fear-mongering but about righteous anger against ideologies that seek to destroy lives and remove God from public consciousness. We have ten clear responsibilities as children of God: from praying for those in authority to challenging injustice, from discipling nations to maintaining godly conduct, from caring for widows and orphans to refusing to forsake gathering together. Most powerfully, we're reminded that God 'trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle' (Psalm 144:1)—we are equipped for spiritual warfare that protects our families, communities, and nation.
