The Shift of Faith Conference | Session 1
This powerful message centers on a transformative truth: God is not a man that He should lie. Drawing from Numbers 23:19, we're reminded that when God speaks a promise, it's already established—He cannot and will not go back on His word. The sermon explores the nature of 'now faith' from Hebrews 11:1, challenging us to move beyond passive hope into active, expectant belief. We see faith not as wishful thinking about the future, but as present-tense certainty that provokes miracles into manifestation. Through Abraham's journey to sacrifice Isaac, we discover that obedience leads us to the mountain, but faith makes us possess it. Abraham could walk his son up that mountain because God had promised that through Isaac, nations would come—meaning if Isaac died, God would be a liar, which is impossible. This teaches us that our faith must be anchored not in our feelings or circumstances, but in God's unchangeable character. When we truly grasp that He is reliable, dependable, and faithful, our faith becomes violent—it refuses to take no for an answer. We learn that God never asks for our 'Isaac' without having our 'Israel' in mind; He sees the bigger picture and the generations that will follow. This message calls us to stop living off scraps and start living off heaven's supply, to stop begging and start believing, because our drought season is over and the sound of abundant rain is here.
